If we are going to win, we must build democratic resilience to the tactics of the techno-fascists. That includes creating physical spaces, where commerce is not the dominant mode of interaction.

Can we create more local mutual aid projects to push back on the shutdown? Military families are turning to pantries, churches, and schools to mind the gap in pay. Students lost Pell grants.

It’s time to donate directly to local food pantries and schools, and organize food and clothing drives.

Never forget this: The forces rigging our economy, undermining our democracy, polluting our planet, and stoking hatred are counting on you to give up. Cynicism is how they win. Stay clear-eyed and ready for the fight ahead.

The more I talk to people the more I hear stories about how much harder everything is getting. Check on your people if you can. ❤️
