Marburg virus disease WHO fact sheet on Marburg haemorrhagic fever provides information on transmission, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, prevention and WHO response.

To be fair, this wouldn't have been the first outbreak of a disease from infected lab monkeys in Germany:

It would still give Trump a headache if he can no longer travel to Europe…

Can anyone confirm that this is real?

This is happening in the US.
Other western countries are available.

Or joked about murdering Venezuelan fisherman. Then he could be vice president.

Two words: Wall Street.

His donors want what Trump is doing. He will sell us all down the river to maintain the lifestyle and power to which he is accustomed, and that's all predicated on being able to swing the Wall Street purse with the DSCC.

He's a collaborator, in effect if not willfully.

Trans ideology right there.

You are not an algorithm.

Don't forget that copyright laws were only created after the invention of the printing press. While it was fine for humans to laboriously reproduce stuff by hand with little oversight, it's a problem when machines do it at industrial rates.

Exactly, he supported voting for no-one in the *primary*… when Kamala Harris wasn't even running for president.

10.09.2025 22:06 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Do you have any reference for that?
Because I've been unable to find any – only that he supported not voting for Biden in the Democratic primary.

Lauren πŸͺ·βœ¨ (@thelaurenelyse) on Threads WAIT. Did Mamdani say not to vote for Kamala in 2024?????? I keep seeing people saying this but can’t find a source for it anywhere.

I already checked, and he never said it.

(Source: this thread has a whole lot of people failing to produce any evidence for it:

When did Mamdani ever suggest not voting for Kamala Harris?

10.09.2025 17:40 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

"Not being Trump" is actually a huge reason to vote for someone.

Seriously, I'd have voted for John Bolton over Trump.

Drug smuggling is not punishable by death even *with* due process (under US law at least).

I think you would still need the placebo arm.
But in a controlled setting, you could get good data with dozens, not thousands, of volunteers.

02.09.2025 17:36 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I see, your suggestion is to knowingly give a group of (informed, consenting) people covid in a controlled setting, with half having received a trial vaccine.

Given how many people were in any case catching covid in an uncontrolled manner, I wholeheartedly agree!

02.09.2025 17:30 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

"Hard lockdowns" weren't always necessary.
Taiwan and South Korea (and perhaps a few other countries) achieved zero covid without lockdowns.

02.09.2025 17:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I might have misunderstood the hype at the time, but I thought they basically did that with the first Covid vaccines?

02.09.2025 17:23 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Is it possible to "self declare" that you have a medical reason for getting the vaccine?
This is my my plan if at all possible.

In the case of Germany in WW2, the negotiation was pretty much "either your brains or your signature will be on this instrument of unconditional surrender".

Back in the 90s, surely that would have been Bill Gates by quite a wide margin?

Aren't *most* museums more focused on the past than stuff that hasn't happened yet?

AI Is a Mass-Delusion Event Three years in, one of AI’s enduring impacts is to make people feel like they’re losing it.

Hello. I wrote a nice long essay about AI and this very strange moment where we're constantly told we're living in the dawn of a strange new future but the only thing that's actually clear is that everyone feels pretty unmoored and uncertain. I hope you'll read it
