Yeah mania’s great until it’s not, and it’s often not possible to tell if you’re in a manic episode until it’s gotten really bad. For me, if I’m feeling really energetic and talkative it’s something to monitor but not always cause for concern. If I start sleeping less then that’s more concerning.

In summer 2016, I was playing Pokemon Go and there was a Venonat inside the car, so I was pointing my phone at it to catch it. My little sister didn’t understand that I was playing a video game and thought there was a real thing called a Venonat in the car and SCREAMED at the top of her lungs lol

I’m not trans and I’m pretty healthily confident in that, but I do use he/they pronouns bc I do like having access to my feminine/androgynous sides and being called they just makes me happy! I’m grateful these stories existed, both for me and others. They were pretty mainstream stories too!

The first sees a “boy” discover her gender was changed as a baby to hide her true identity as the princess of Oz, and the second has a girl transform into and out of an evil guy but she doesn’t know it’s happening. Neither are explicitly “trans” stories but I was fascinated by them as a kid.

Not a video game but two of the earliest trans stories I experienced in media were from The Land of Oz and the Bakugan anime.

I’m the same way, I loved Dispatch and Citizen Sleeper 2 this year largely for that reason but my ADHD gets too bad with too many guys to manage. I’ve found even Fire Emblem is too much for me lately, especially as I gain more fighters.
