I have instructional designers/administrators asking if I'm going to incorporate AI into my bioinformatics class. I have to laugh and say ML has been around since the 80s.

Some of our master's thesis students were working on a similar approach. There is a huge amount of training and tweaking the models, and then selecting the appropriate model and settings.

It's not even close to selecting a prompt for ChatGPT to run with.
