Thing is I had a medically diagnosed condition - genetic too. But pain killers were bad, pain was an excuse to get out of chores, long bathroom trips were me avoiding work, etc. as an adult I had to learn how to take care of myself properly while sick because I just thought I had to suffer.

Its autism acceptance month and this is so very important. Both in my family and my husband’s, diagnosed and undiagnosed. It’s how our brains work and it affects every part of our lives. I hope for the future that our society works together for everyone. We see and experience the world differently.
