22.08.2025 17:37 β π 14 π 6 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs true, but the problem is that she followed her confusing vote up with a statement that said she always supports funding for defensive weapons like the Iron Dome. So she supports the defense of a (genocidal, her word) country, with no defense of Gaza.
19.07.2025 23:53 β π 25 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I skim completed it, mostly reading the insufficient summaries and making a best guess. For the first couple pages I was re-reading whole resolutions and even asking forum questions, but that was bog slow.
19.07.2025 11:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If DSA had existed in the Soviet Union its members would have been imprisoned or exiled or killed.
13.07.2025 16:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Lol, depends on the chapter. Usually roberts rules, committee reports, maybe a resolution, some political education, some snacks.
10.07.2025 15:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm impressed with all of the DSA member politicians you manage to dig up. Many seem to be unendorsed, is that right? More like quiet members.
07.07.2025 19:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Welcome, and you joined, you did not subscribe : ) I mean, we don't even have a hard copy publication any more. But we have meetings, so go to those!
07.07.2025 19:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Moving season. We started a βcomrades helping comradesβ section in our newsletter and the first two requests were for moving help. People did too!

05.07.2025 22:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thank you for spreading the good word that is socialism, Phil BuildTheFutureNow. DSA seeks to build a future for everyone, not just the lucky fewβa just, beautiful, abundant and diverse future.
05.07.2025 22:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How much did they spend building public pressure and organizing against it instead of asking for donations? Politics is more than the next election, itβs building movements.
03.07.2025 23:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Cool, and welcome! Iβm 59 and DSA is great.
01.07.2025 17:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Our βno billionairesβ platform might be a turnoff for him.
30.06.2025 22:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes, run as inspiring Democratic Socialists and members of DSA, with strong, consistent, economically populist messaging. And don't bend to AIPAC.
30.06.2025 00:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Packing the vote!
30.06.2025 00:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0NYC has about 10 percent of overall membership, and really the other chapters are doing fine. NYC-DSA is doing well, Zohran is awesome, but even our chapter of 140 has 4 socialists in office.
28.06.2025 01:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Chapters have been getting better at onboarding. Ours grew from 100 to 144 since Trump this November, so we get practice. I was a Green myself before Nader ran (late nineties).
28.06.2025 00:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think we have chapters in most states. I donβt see Wyoming and Alaska on the list (used to have two in Alaska, but sometimes they fizzle).
27.06.2025 23:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You will hear about caucuses, but most members are not in them. DSA politics mostly occurs in chapters, and they vary. Ours is small (144 members). We decide things democratically at meetingsplan stuff in smaller working groups and committees. The politics range from social-democrat to communism.

25.06.2025 17:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0DSA was a laboratory for Mamdani. Now we just have to put his approach into production in races around the country. He called himself a democratic socialist all the way through, and he did not shy away from standing up for Palestine. But the main focus was his issues. Very Bernie, that way.
25.06.2025 16:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Zohran Mamdani: βWe are special as DSA electeds not because of ourselves, we are special because of our organization.β
24.06.2025 15:16 β π 102 π 18 π¬ 2 π 5On Friday night, we walked the length of Manhattan, from Inwood Hill to Battery Park.
New Yorkers deserve a Mayor they can see, hear, even yell at. The city is in the streets.

βIβm tired of feeling powerless. Joining DSA is the most effective way to get organized. DSA chapters across the country build strong communities and campaign for candidates who stand for working people against oligarchs. I want to be a part of it!β β North Carolina dsausa.org/join
