I think this is also why I'm drawn to things like podcasting. I want the spontanaeity (sp??) of social media but I want the touch point to be longer

A big part of why I think about social media *so often* (way more than I would like) is that I'm an author, and building a platform online is one of the most important streams for marketing books.

If I WEREN'T an author, I would probably just vanish from socials all together, but I can't

I've been thinking about my tech use for the last several weeks. I love tech, I love my social media apps. But I also know that I spend far far too much time on socials.

I'm thinking of doing stuff like throwing "phone free parties" to connect with ppl better IRL again. I just miss IRL connection
