The snail farmer of London, his mafia friends, and a Β£20m vendetta against the taxman Terry Ball runs elaborate mollusc-based tax avoidance schemes that are costing London councils millions of pounds. Yet when London Centric tracks him down, an even stranger story emerges.

I think this is the weirdest story I've ever reported. www.londoncentric.media/p/terry-ball...

A *Conservative Party politician* calling 80s hooliganism β€œlargely good natured fun” is absolutely fucking incredible

Caerphilly apparently. I honestly, honestly despise this stuff. They have nothing to offer, nothing to say, nothing to hope for, nothing to aspire to, no solutions, nothing. Just hate and lies.

Graphic with the headline β€œLondon is the greatest city in the world” set against a bright view of the River Thames with the Shard, Tower Bridge and the city skyline.

The text celebrates what makes London special: regularly voted the number one city in the world, incredible diversity with over 300 languages spoken, world-class transport, world leader in finance tech and life sciences, best museums and galleries many free to visit, world-leading nightlife, food sport and music for every taste, host to the world’s best sporting events, home to seven Premier League clubs, globally-ranked universities, a city where you can be yourself and love who you love, and a place for everyone.

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again.

Ignore the haters, London is the 🐐

Could you be refused a job for being a Spurs fan in an Arsenal office?

A UK judge says yes in some cases if it is about team harmony.

Here is what changed, what is still illegal, and what to watch. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

Impressed by his speeches and media handling on day one.

He's saying things that need to be said, about equality, society, nationalisation, immigration, environment and - importantly - hope.

And he's tearing justifiable chunks out of Farage and Starmer.

Post-match punditry is shite. They work backwards from the result and eradicate nuance. People whose opinions are influenced by it are cretinous.

No idea how his legs are holding up, but considering that was never his strong point anyway it should be fine. Definitely a good addition from my perspective

Committed, professional and a great range of passing. Good game intelligence and a leader in the dressing room and on the pitch. The drawbacks are he is not very agile so needs some help or midfield gets overrun, and seems to get reffed more harshly than similar players. I loved him

Fuel duty has effectively been cut by 40% in real terms since 2011

Yet some 46% of voters still say petrol is β€œunaffordable”, according to More In Common. When asked about Rachel Reeves’ recent cut to fuel duty, less than half of voters were even aware it had happened!

Like with our tie not enough is made of this disparity and the context of any match with a team like theirs.

They should be challenging for the final, and at least in the finals, every single season they spend like this.

Anything less is basically a failure.
