Oh for sure! I make sure I get all my minerals. The problem for me with water is that I can taste weird flavors in it (thanks autism!), so I just didn't drink it at all ever for 50+ years. This system makes it so I can drink water, so that's a win imo haha

Also, I am aware of the limitations of a TDS meter when looking at water filters. Because I am a nerd overachiever, I also dug up these stats comparing the two systems' ability to remove specific contaminants, just to be sure.

Then I measured the water that came out of my ZeroWater filter. ZERO, baby! And now I know that a Brita is not, in fact, fine for purifying water. No, it is not painful to be this nerdy. 😜

I got out my trusty TDS meter to measure total dissolved solids in the water. In the above post, I measured the water coming out of the tap. Here, I measured the water after going through the Brita. Still quite a bit of stuff in the water.

The neighbor lady gave me some marigolds to make a dye, so I did, and they made this gorgeous color. The difference in shade is because the scarf is wool and the bandana is cotton and protein (wool) takes up dye better than cellulose (cotton).
