Honour mode you have been bested once again

Another baldurs gate honour mode run comes to a close and all i feel is the overwhelming desire to just jump straight back in, i LOVE this game

Pints of Beamish and a rollie or two and suddenly im thinking maybe everything is gonna be ok

I've mainly stuck to drinking cider for the better part of 2 years now but tonight im spirits drunk and holy i forgot what a beast this is

I've eaten a kebab, there's drinks in the fridge and gaming with some friends is on for this evening, it's truly the simple pleasures and this is your sign to indulge today because its doing wonders for me

It's honestly exhausting trying to keep up and stay informed with the state of the world, so this is a reminder to be kind to yourself

Sometimes i think my social circle is too small and i do genuinely love getting know new people but then i get hit with that wall of a realisation that after uni there just aren't that many outlets for getting to know new people and so i just go about my day until the thought comes back around

Manifesting that 2025 will have
- two trips to see friends overseas
- A job that doesn't make me wanna end it all
- A love interest? (maybe) (optional)

Baldurs Gate is a great game we all know this but future playthroughs will be that much sweeter now that i've finally gotten around to the Gold dice 🤭

For me the worst by far was the sand fishing, took me an embarrassing amount of time to get all the tokens from it 😭

Yeah! I finished the base map I think, but i wanted do the pathfinder bits before moving on fully and i just couldn't find the time

I haven't gotten around to even starting act IV yet, gonna be in the depths getting it done before it ends in January 🫠

The new Alliance Raid in XIV was fun as fuck but holy was it not something to go into in a head empty type of mood I've not died that often in content in a while🥲

depends on the game for me! no music for anything story driven/single player but always music on for anything multiplayer

Entering the final fight in Baldurs Gate in an Honour Mode Co-op run just hits different

Thinking about how 'Francesca - Hozier' is THE Zelink anthem of our time and how I can't interact with one without thinking of the other

I found that the nature of other app had made me retreat to a point where the only time I'd reply/engage with people was with those I already spoke to everyday anyway, and that started to feel far too insular and my overall use ground to a halt, been loving how different this app feels so far!

That's a great combo! How is the update? I'd play it myself but I have put a LOT of time into it over the years so im leaving it until i really miss it again 😅
