One thing Iโ€™d be nice if Schatz and others acknowledged is that even judging their hard right turn on immigration in Spring 2024 on its own terms it failed miserably. In July when Harris took over Trump led on โ€œimmigrationโ€ by 9pts, by election day he led 13pts. At best it, electorally, did nothing

Sameer Project's current goal for their mass displacement campaign is $750,000. This $2K campaign means we can collectively make a $4K dent. Support the sickest coming from hospital overflow, medical staff, aid distribution team members, and Civil Defense who risk their lives to rescue civilians.

What does it mean to write in the role of griot or cultural worker--one who owes something to the community they come from and who writes out of that community?

Gonna just paste in a bunch of tweets from right wing media and influencers who were stating that Charlie Kirk's assassin was proven to be a transgender person. This was a lie, and beyond irresponsible. It's obviously targeting trans people to stir up hate and violence against them.

the leftish podcastersphere triangulation on this has been disgusting to watch: there was almost no evidence for an entire day, and the right wing pushed a trans shooter narrative. Our beloved podcasters then triangulated based off far those right talking points. Truly pathetic. Sad!

Iโ€™m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Hala. Hala is only 16 years old and is a very popular singer in Gaza (you should check her out www.instagram.com/hala_e_omar?...). Her and her family are being forced to flee Gaza City and live in tents in the South. They need help โค๏ธ

I just learned that Charlie kirk was also a podcaster. Its caused me to have a rd 2 Damascus moment; regarding my colleague's brutal murder by a yet unidentified extremist shooter. We podcasters must come together to oppose the political violence we condone every episode
