When you get around to posting the list online, I'd like to take a look. I think there is a lot to gruul, and that a gruul cube could be super diverse. I've also seen people say it would be too one-dimensional.

Doppelgang is a riot

The EOE lands are amazing, but I also love the Mirroring ones. Personally I'd keep those I think. They fit the flavor well and are a little goofier. Either are sick though.

Bat and Pixie stand out for me as flexible powerful single color cards. I enjoy the play patterns of Pixie more, so that would be my pick even though the Bat is likely better.

For me, personally from cards you don't play: Fencing Ace, Plagued Rusalka, Stinkweed Imp, Lust for War, Momentary Blink(!), Ribbons of Night, Bituminous Blast.

I really love typal stuff in cube, do I'm very much here for people trying it!

Fwiw this is also for narrow typal payoffs that want you to go all in, like the different lords. These are super cool when you actively have to decide if you take the better card in a vacuum or go for the worse but more synergistic card.

I like them if the cube also has reasons to not go all in on a single type. These kinds of cards are fun of they make you decide on a direction: type matters or a different strategy.

Excited to see how Bloodghast at home will play out.

Different frame and art treatments make me nervous as is, so definitely that. Pair that with random foil/non-foil and the least iconic art for very iconic cards and you have got a very weird aesthetic

I remember Karn being amazing back then, even in Vintage Cube.

FTK for sure, probably alongside Hammer.
I could see myself picking City, Gemstone Mine or Karplusan, Dynamo or even AK as 2nd pick. FTK stands out though.

Do you imagine this being a 4-8 player thing? Or looking for 2-4 entertainment? In the latter case, a battle box is also a very fun way to do fast-but-interesting gameplay that feels like limited and is skill intensive. And even faster to set up.

I think I've said it before, but: What I like about your cube is that it has a selection of cards that's not just the best of the best. It's a slice of history. For me, that adds a layer of choice in these p1p1s. Do I pick the best card or the best looking one? I'm on Counterspell here.
