Best Ghostly Prison print of all time though?
02.10.2025 19:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0AND AT NUMBER 1... Pariahβs Shield: Ok, Iβll confess: this was tougher than other threads. Being Mono-white really limits options. Maybe Anti-Venom is just better in other decks than as commander (Blasphemous Acts?)? But Pariahβs shield is cheap AND low supply:
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
2. Pariah: a no brainer: redirect all damage youβd take straight at Anti-V making it MASSIVE. At $1.6 median price it's the perfect cure for your opponents venomous attacks (except that horrific Outlaws print π€’). There are a few beautiful Saga copies left:
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
3. Otherwise you may have to settle for: Stuffy Doll, who offers some redundancy for AntiVenom should your venomous opponents be packing too much removal for Anti-V to stay on board. At $8 its unlikely to 10x but there arenβt a huge number of copies available.
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
4. Obv depending on house rules for your pod (how venomous your opponents are): hybrid cards may (not) be allowed (formally theyβre not mono but I know lots of pods who are chill about this) so Boros Reckoners / Spite Mares are a natural fit and bargain prices.
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
Dont @ me: I know he's Gandalf the Grey in the hobbit... Surely Hasbro wouldn't dare reprint Gandalf the White in the Hobbit set? Surely they wouldn't prioritise profits over commitment to preserve the so-loved underlying lore.. #mtghobbit #mtgspidey #anti-venomisbestvenom #antivenomlovesaspacelaser
01.10.2025 10:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 05. What's Better than Elesh? Gandalf! End-step Anti-Venom WITH a double reanimate?! Then untap with a full board ready to combo off? His price chart data looks great + lots of nice synergies in other decks, but with the Hobbit set maybe heβll get a reprint?
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
6. Not into firing your giant space laser at Anti-Venom or maybe they just killed it in response? How about Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines to double all those reanimation triggers each time you recast Anti-Venom? But Elesh is already at quite a high price pointβ¦
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
7.EoE already feels like the set Hasbro forgot (spoilers on Prerelease weekend - is nothing sacred anymore?!) so with reprints eternities away, Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought could be good for a $ climb? Attacking with 105/105 commanders is what EDH is all about!
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
8. At 4 white pips Phyrexian Vindicator may struggle to find a lot of homes but Anti-V welcomes its horrifying many-white-mana bud with open arms. Only a few copies left on tcgplayer + just 1 print, this might be worth a look but maybe already at its $ ceiling?
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
So what's Anti-Venom do? 1. Anti-V ETB is reanimate so maybe blinking/double triggering? 2. Anti-V gets TONK with βwhen dealt damage gain that many +1/+1sβ. The challenge is that its mono white ( #worstcolourinmtg ). So Top 8 cards for price changes from Anti-V:

Hello #MtG Blue Sky! Weβve been exploring what cards are due for price changes in the next few months due to spidey commanders? Today, Anti Venom: So here are the top 8 cards that Anti-Venom (if it becomes a popular commander) might drive price changes for
#mtgspiderman #mtgfinance #antivenom
Super excited that weβll be getting a Hobbit set next year!! Stocking up on Dwarven Recruiters ready to tutor up all the Balins, Dwalins, Filis, Kilis, Doris, Noris, Oris, Oins, Gloins, Bifurs, Bofurs, and Bomburs.
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
Honorable mentions: obviously Sheoldred, the Apocalypse is going to turn any negatives even more positive, but at $70 already - it doesnβt feel like its got a lot of space for the price to grow into (before they reprint it somewhereβ¦)
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
Number 1: Angels Grace is another MtG all star on a strong price trajectory without a reprint for a while. Swap life to draw oodles of cards, then pay lots with Grace, then just flicker Mister Negative to swap them back. Last couple available copies.
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
2. Astarion doubles all that negativity. Pay lots of life, then swap with your opponent and then make them lose all that againβ¦ (presumably visiting his vamp pal Morbius when he joins Mr Neg?) At $1.37 - Heβs tough to reprint because of Baldurs Gate IP.
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
3. Lothoβs already on a strong $ trajectory (check out his price chart!). Mr Neg can only help. Get lots of treasure and all that life paying is a bonus for Mr Neg. Frodoβs evil cousin is a commander staple thatβs hard to reprint (altho Hobbit set next yr...) partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
28.09.2025 11:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 04. Phyrexian Unlife (or Lich but that's like $200...) seems fun with Mr Neg. Pay your life below 0 then switcheroo with whoever's wronged you at the table. Phyrexian Unlife is below $1, and is ripe for below 0 life shenanigans (as would be Platinum Angel etc).
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
5. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth is a great way to channel that life before swapping (he says: spend life instead of black mana). 2 proper printings (MH3 and C19, + some fancy copies). Not a huge number of copies on tcgplayer and at $1 its got room to grow?
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
6.Verrak: if the you're paying life pre swapping with Neggy this gives lots of value. $0.58 + just 1 printing. TBH tho, I've not worked out what makes the AI so confident in it. Maybe itβs worked out something I havenβt (Or just hallucinated)? Ideas welcome! partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
28.09.2025 11:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 07. Repay in Kind is a fun way to close out the game with phyrexian unlife or Angels Grace (spoiler alert: theyβre both in the list...). But feels like a Nonbo for Mr Neggy? Just 1 real printing tho and thatβs getting old now so maybe set for price rise?
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
8. Tainted Sigil just has the one (now very old) printing and gives you lots of fun shenanigans with everything else in the deck and is on a tidy price trend. Why so low in the list? Itβs just not massively thrilling as a card (am I being too negative?).
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
9. Axis of Mortality is a classic example of the AI turning up something I'd never have thought of - it gives you plenty of neggy redundancy and only has the 1 printing. But waiting for your upkeep feels like it could be an eternity in commander...
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
10. Vito Thorn (and all the equivalents: Sanguine Bond etc), lets you again double the pain of that life swap - but it might be that all its jumpstart printings hold it back from too much of a price spike? Or maybe Iβve missed one?
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
11. Vilis, Broker of Blood: want to be real positive with Mr Neg? How about doubling all the draws? Just 1 printing of Vilis means pretty low supply but already at $8 (and 8 mana - or 8 life to reanimate?) maybe Vilis is unlikely to go up more than 2-3x
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
12. Toxic Deluge is a commander staple and a great life sink before you swap with an opponent. It lets you wrath away anything pesky before Neggy strolls onto the board to commence his crime spree. But: lots of recent reprints mean lots of supply.
partner.tcgplayer.com/c/6397176/18...
So what's Mr Negative do? He swaps your life with an opponent. If they're at less, you draw cards for the difference. So you either want lots of βpay life for xβ to use yours then swap OR gain tons of life then draw tons of cards. What cards will he impact?
