I am astounded, pleased, and hugely relieved that despite the best efforts of Trump, Mike Johnson, and the rest of the pack, no protestors were shot dead or run over and killed today. They tried so damned hard to activate their rabid, armed-to-the-teeth worshippers, and everyone survived anyway.

They were so cute. I asked for a picture and they lined right up.
