I just watched the neo nazis interrupting the Welcome to Country in Melbourne, I almost cried. Then I saw two Veterans escorting the scum away & my faith in humanity was restored. Hate only breeds more hate but I struggle to love or forgive nazis. Dud-un emboldened them, he is responsible.

We ended up dropping him at the local vets & im really hoping that someone gives him a forever home, we think he was probably dumped 😔

It’s late evening now, hoping rooster will be ok, yard is fenced but they fly right? Hoping he wasn’t hurt by the dog - no damage I could see or feel, will head to vets in the morning…he seems pretty tame. If I wasn’t feeling so traumatised I’d be laughing.x

Found 🐓 while out on my walk this evening, got home with bird tucked cosily under my arm after rescuing from a nasty dog! (many raised eyebrows as ‘woman walks with rooster’) Now on my back deck, no one owning up to missing 🐓 on local FB group…sad state of affairs. Not sure what to do with him TBH 🤷‍♀️
