Ultimately the problem like everything else is wealth inequity. As long as most of the wealth is concentrated at the top most of us are poor.

I realize he's talking about the BC/Canadian housing crisis, but it's the same problem as here. The private sector wont build enough housing because then housing will be cheap. The Government won't build housing because home equity is a load bearing pillar of American retirement planning.

I don't know how anybody who is old enough to remember the housing crash in the late 2000s would believe for a second that the private sector would continue building houses after the prices start dropping. The only way we will ever have enough housing is if we have a federal homes guarantee.

My son's new strategy in MLB the show is whenever he has runners on the corners he steals 2nd and when they try to throw that runner out he sends the runner from third to home. He calls it his little league play. Half the time they don't even get the runner at 2nd.
