I've had something similar on threads (and to a lesser extent here) when twitter began to implode. Some of the empty accounts were from followers from Twitter, but they didn't have the same name, others were clearly bots or ladies with no clothes.

I left it a while to see what they posted

Has anybody else noticed that since Trump & Musk have been in the White House, it's a lot easier to find and delete the nazis from your followers
