There's a lot of great talks at ASHG done by talented trainees and scientists - I am listening to one now - but yes, sometimes you want more content and less glamour from some talks.

An exciting new study that explores and compares target gene identification from two orthogonal methods: CRISPRi screening and eQTLs! Led by the incredible Sam Ghatan, who started working with us on this as a visiting PhD student, and is now a postdoc presenting it at Biology of Genomes on Friday! π

I've spent so many hours at the hospital this month and will be spending many more there today. My dad is the reason UofT is my dream job (he got his PhD there in '98). 2/3
