I think a lot of these people (Jenrick, Timothy, Farage) are bullies first and racists second. The racism is a means to an end: the bully enlists the easily-led to further his or her own ends. Farage inciting the riots last August was a classic example, and he's working the same rich seam this year

The article says "A wave of misinformation, half-truths and lies on social media, including false claims that the killer was a Muslim asylum seeker, sparked riots" - surely relevant to note that MP and Reform leader Nigel Farage was at the forefront of that "wave of misinformation"
