This together with a few interviews is hardly the ringing endorsement of Reform UK that the article seems to imply. I feel that the 34% of votes gained by the Reform candidate might be representative of the town but it is nowhere near the views of the majority of residents.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and positive thread. You make many valid points. I do think though, that it might be pointed out that out of our two county councillors, only one Reform candidate was elected by 34% of the voters in a 35% turnout.

The composer Lili Boulanger seated at an organ console
On Sunday 6 April, for the first time in its 80 year history, @BuxtonMusSoc will perform a work by a female composer.
But what a composer! And what a work!
If you have never heard Lili Boulanger's 'Au font de l'abรฎme', you need to.
If you have, I'm sure that you will be coming to listen again.

Broadband, mobile and TV price hikes 2025: How BT, Sky, Virgin Media and more will change bills this spring
Millions of BT, EE, Plusnet, and Vodafone broadband, mobile and TV customers will see their bills increase this spring. By how much, and whether they'll rise by inflation or pounds and pence, depends ...
Whenever someone tells you that public sector workers asking for an above inflation payrise are stoking inflation, just point out that everyone who owns a mobile phone is doing the same by accepting these automatic increases from phone companies.
