Didn’t plan on this being a social trip based on previous experiences and spent most of the time on the beach soaking in rays so still a successful trip so far.

Been quite the roller coaster of being an Iowa State fan this weekend. Lost our football coach but then beat the #1 ranked team on the road by 20 in basketball. I’ll trade a basketball natty for 10 shitty years of football.

South Florida is about the only place I recommend going to the touristy areas rather than finding the local spots when traveling solo. Just a lot of rude people in general outside of the chill old dude that retired down here. Hope DSO is better tonight.

Gonna scout this out for Goose in April. Leaving Friday open for cheaper Byrne tickets/exploring South Beach. Not a big enough Talking Heads fan to pay $300 to get in the door.

1. Iowa is getting a foot of snow tonight.

2. Miami Beach forecast is mostly sunny in the 80s next weekend

3. There is a cheap non stop round trip flight from DSM to FLL Thursday coming back Sunday

4. Dark Star Orchestra and David Byrne are playing in the area

Cleveland Tumble also getting super overshadowed by MSG, Fiddlers, Indy. Loved it live and it holds up.
