I really enjoyed it, and had really hoped for at least one more season (okay, at least the equivalent of a traditional full season). I think some shows just get lost in the flood of streaming content.

Shadowrun is fantastic, I’ve been running campaigns for decades, using the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th edition rules. Stories have run from street-level survival to battles against the highest levels of megacorporate greed and hubris to supernatural horror and more.

San Diego was pretty glorious. You could tell people wanted to do more. If someone steps up to direct that energy….

I hope you did something similar during the rodeo - so many opportunities (my wife and I were visiting Harrah's to dine and play Shadowrun with friends).

This will be one of the most difficult Pride celebrations in recent memory. Our LGBTQ+ friends and family are increasingly targets of hate and discrimination, with many of those messages and actions coming from their own government.

Yeah, that was a pretty significant ride here in Escondido, must have been... exciting (?) in Julian and Lake Cuyamaca.

There is no “good” reason for anyone, in any industry, to be paid exorbitantly. I could explain the “pro” arguments, but any reasonable person could poke more than enough holes in them to leave them dead on the floor. The reality boils down to what companies are willing to pay, and greed.

Participated in the #handsoff protest in Oceanside with family and friends. I was happy to join so many others protesting the actions of Trump and his cronies. More will be needed, but it felt like another step in the right direction.

Agreed, but we are going to need MUCH larger numbers, everywhere. My take is that too many people are still too comfortable, too complacent; that includes our elected Democratic representatives.

I’m pretty sure they aren’t close to done yet, either.

Trump doesn’t care if something is illegal. SCOTUS said that he is immune from prosecution, which he took to mean that he can do anything he wants. We need to get Musk and his minions out of all federal facilities, and keep them out, permanently.

You represent California, and I truly hope that you understand what that means. California must lead, and so must you. Be bold, not afraid.

And yes, our elected officials who disagree with Trump need to do their part. They need to know that we have their backs. There is going to be discomfort. There is going to be pain. There is going to be loss. That is going to happen no matter what - we choose why, and how it ends.

Trump and his collaborators think they have maneuvered into a situation they cannot lose. They are counting on U.S. citizens just wanting to stay comfortable in their homes. The way to beat them is to get up, get out, and take ACTION. Ultimately, we will need millions protesting, otherwise....

I don't tend to post often - I would definitely get in trouble for posting my thoughts.

It is an important start, but more will be required.
