At ESA ESTEC for the CRISTAL Mission Advisory Group meeting. The first flight model parts are already being made! We are still looking at a launch date in 2027!

Final leg (6:th since ESRIN). Amsterdam - Leiden. Short 40 minutes on an IC. These run something like every 20 minutes, and there was conveniently one waiting on the platform.

After a 28 hour rest in Frankfurt, time to get moving again. Today's leg 1 (5:th since Frascati): to Amsterdam on ICE158 after extremely confusing platform and train changes in Frankfurt.

Leg 4 Basel - Frankfurt.
I could had made it to Amsterdam already with this Nightjet, but will have a long stop in Frankfurt nonetheless.
Leg 3 from Milano to Basel. Trains still look pretty slick!
Bit of a shame that I will cross the Alps when it's dark.
Leg 2 Roma Termini - Milano. These Frecciarossa trains make me think Italians sold the crappy Pendolinos to Finland on purpose and kept the nice ones...

First leg to Roma Termini done. 5 or 6 legs to go. Now a few hundred grams of pizza Romana and a bag full of proviant for the next trains.
