Top effort by everyone involved keeping that one quiet.

Sure that probably does make up most of it. There just seemed a lot of reports on internal discussions and actions. Annoyingly a few ended up being accurate. Doubt the club briefs to that extent so I’ve assumed there are some chatty staff members.

Anybody else feel like the club leaks way too much info to journalists? No idea if intentional or not but it must have hurt us on a few occasions this window. Hope the new CEO and DOF can tighten things up a bit there. #NUFC

Seems to be a pervasive narrative of players rejecting us if we don’t sign them. And us holding hostage if it’s another club interested in ours. Seems to all come from engagement farmers and rage baiters from the other place as far as I can tell though.

South African 👋. I used to get loads terrible images over WhatsApp groups with reports of farm murders. Reverse image searches usually reveal them to be linked to articles with South American drug cartel activity implications. Sometimes they would use media “borrowed”from the Yugoslav Wars too.

The "us against the world" gritty underdog mentality has been quickly replaced with a sort of entitled expectation quite quickly.

I get the feeling Mitchell inherited some large issues from Ashworth and Staveley. We won't know the full extent for a while. Fully believe they tried to bring in some key players and appreciate them not panic buying just for the sake of it. We still have a good squad, fitness will be key until Jan

It will be as boring as any other corporate asset negotiation. Media has crafted a far more dramatic script for these "sagas" or they wouldn't get views. Also doubt the bids submitted and rejected narrative. More likely they're quibbling over finer points like payment terms or some shit like that.

Understand your stance, I do feel twitter is probably the worst data source to extract the average views of any group of people though. From what I have seen myself I don't doubt they exist, but consider them a small but very noisy minority+Bots and blue tick wankers jumping on any # to gain views.

It is very common for residents of some African countries to use VPN servers in the UK to access content blocked for them normally. Incidentally many of those countries hold very severe views of the LGBTQ+ community. I Would make a fairly large allowance for that in the glow you're looking at.

I reckon if we manage to keep injuries to a minimum we have as good a chance as ever. James Bunce could very well end up being the most important signing of the window.

The noise certainly became unbearable for me, hoping the migration continues and we get a decent platform to converse with other fans here. Without the immediate prospect of earnings from interactions, I cant really see the other lot having a reason to peddle shit in this space.

Comments section of any club post is a fucking nightmare. Scrolling through a ton of blue tick Man U or CFC accounts replying with "mid club" shit before you see any actual fan reactions.
