REMINDER: HS2, delivered in full, was the most effective single investment to reduce the UK's emissions.

The last government cancelled it, this government doubled down. Until they reverse the cancellation, Labour cannot be taken seriously on the climate.

Wind farms are cool. But I think it would be better if it was government owned and not owned by a private company that uses a local name. I worry that we’re pushing this problem onto future generations and that this won’t make energy more affordable.

Found this yesterday in Any Amount of Books on Charing Cross Road. Considering I’ve recently started illustrating some heraldic animals, it feels serendipitous. A very interesting book.

Recently saw this recreation of the she-wolf mosaic in Denver - this time sans Romulus and Remus. Perhaps this is a before / after?

There are confirmed sightings of the aurora around the UK right now. If you have clear skies in your area then look up and you might just get a display of the Northern Lights to welcome in 2025!
