According to the county, "95% of permanent supportive housing residents were able to maintain a stable home. The data also shows improved health outcomes, including 33% shorter hospital stays, 22% fewer hospital stays, and a 17% decrease in ER visits for residents..."

Shoutout to the King County Metro & Pierce Transit supervisors and operators who put in extra hours last night, keeping us moving safely.

It was a pleasure to work with them in an ad-hoc capacity last night, directing traffic to back a big bus out of a blocked street :)

My observation: the King County council is taking the federal situation with the seriousness it deserves and referencing it in a whole host of related conversations and decisions.

The Seattle city council doesn't seem to be doing as good a job connecting the dots.
