The Internet lies about slow cookers. Just had 7 hour roast lamb from one, browned in the outside, fell apart from the bone, delicious.
Cooked on high for two hours, added garlic, leeks, herbs and wine, then 5 hours on low.

If a pedestrian is injured by a driver, they have been driven into. Even if they jumped into the path of the driver.

The main problem is people thinking the lessons they learned were silly and "just for the test".
No one has ever "accelerated out of trouble" during a driving test and passed.

"Driver of lorry collided with police officer", certainly seems more neutral. Even though it is unlikely that anyone would walk into the side of a fast moving vehicle. However this is more problematic when drivers pull into the path of people (still unlikely to be a pedestrian though)

I'm saying they sound like singers with their own voices. Lots of people in (stage) musicals sing with a certain sound, that is fine, but can be a bit samey. That is one thing that set Wicked apart for me.

And they don't sing like musicals singers.

It is fundamentally anti democratic. 1 person tells the truth, and 10 counter that with a lie, so the lie lives on. But it is still a lie, and people remain uninformed. Democracy needs checks and balances to ensure society remains informed.
