I think Joshua Tree - Achtung Baby - Zooropa is one of the great three album runs. (I’m ignoring Rattle and Hum because I’m allowed to)

A great piece, thanks. This and Zooropa were peak U2 for me, tho I was obsessed with Joshua Tree also. AB is a break up album for me. Still a tough listen.

If I am ever pushed, I name Murakami as one of my favourite authors and mention this book, though the honest truth is that it’s been thirty years or so since I read it and can remember nothing about what happens…that’s old age for you I guess.
