it was the exact same magic boomer complaint as "it's not fantasy anymore" and "it's becoming simpler for new players". A lot of the players running them are also saying it doesn't deserve to be banned because everyone else can just play it too. Magic should be accessible for everyone, and the BDIF being 2 months of rent has me looking at Riftbound with very interested eyes.

My recent LGS tournament had a top cut of 7 Izzet Cauldrons and 1 Izzet Prowess. Standard has been this expensive before and will be this expensive again, but if Wizards want to keep it growing they need to keep reprints accessible and often.
