It's not that Devers wanted to play third base full-time. It was more that the Sox kept changing their story on what they wanted from him. And he finally got fed up and said no more.

I don't know if it's a good sign for the #SFGiants that a Dave Roberts lookalike from LA is in prime position to win the U.S. Open.

I'm guessing that Jordan Hicks is going to Boston as a partial offset for the $250 million the #SFGiants are taking on for Devers. Hicks is due another $32.5 million over the next 2 1/2 seasons. That's not an insignificant amount of money. I assume that that's how it will go.
