Okay, if a person wants to watch the half time show live is there an actual TIME that it is scheduled for or is it just "whenever they are done with the first half"? (I usually just watch it the next day online because I refuse to watch a single second of the game)

She's the weird one here. If they were like, sales leads and she stood to lose money by sharing, sure, but stronger community partnerships benefit the library and more people knowing who to talk to means other people can take up the work if she is unable to

Watching THE COPENHAGEN TEST. So far the Metro is accurate in terms of looks (the map behind him, the train car, the station itself) but the station named is not. Also I have seen all of KIM'S CONVENIENCE and thus Simu Liu is very firmly Canadian in my mind.

Yeah, that's fair, I don't expect it to pay for everything! I hope they survive.

They do a few shows every summer at Wolf Trap which also probably helps; hopefully that continues and keeps them alive

I am horrified at the idea of his tacky ass having anything to do with any renovations but also wonder if they are happening now to disguise the drop in attendance/revenue.

I am still on their mailing list and every time I see them refer to it with his name I feel sick. It's such an amazing space to see live performances and one of the best in terms of wheelchair accessibility IME but I won't be back till they take his name off.

When I actually need magnification/correction to read, I will, but for now it's cheaper/easier to get single-vision lenses and take them off as needed. They are definitely in my future though

I also have a bunch of native seeds that need cold stratification and I am tempted to try to start them in pots on the deck but I don't have any soil in the house (that doesn't already have a plant in it)

To celebrate Imbolc I cleaned and reset our hydroponic garden and started some herb seeds in it (sweet basil, cilantro, dill, sage). I learned from experience that it is WAY too early to start tomatoes or peppers but the temptation is STRONG.

This is wonderful news and I hope the same happens for every other child those monsters have locked up.

It's a totally normal thing but it's so distressing to be on the caregiving side when it happens. Sending lots of love to you.

Last time I had a tech who's been doing it for like 20+ years and she just manhandled me and told me not to try to help which was honestly better in some ways. But I agree, there has to be a better way!
