Iβve been unable to post almost anything because of mental health nadir so Iβm very proud I whipped this up, and if a romcom with MCs who are offended by the state of the world and do fucking something about it might help you weather your own dark nights, well:

The cover of Deal With the Devil on a background featuring the heroine, Nina, standing on rubble with books in one arm and a gun in the other hand. The ebook cover is on a table with a "Now a Major Motion Picture" sticker that has an asterisk. Next to it is "* actually we're just kind of awkwardly living out the plot in real time but if we pretend it's a movie maybe that makes it more exciting?"
In 2020 @totallydonna.kitrocha.com & I started a trilogy about 3 book nerds (w/ superpowers) who just want to build a library for their community but shitty tech bros suck so they have to keep doing crimes.
Tor was kind enough to put book one on sale for $5.99!

There is an uncountable number of repositories of power all across the United States. Some are huge and obvious: the federal government, major corporations, police departments, billionaires. But there are millions of small ones, too, including small businesses, community groups, churches β and the people themselves.
In theory and historically, the federal government is the aggregation of all the small individual centers of power. In recent decades, though, it's been fair to wonder whether the federal government wasn't instead an aggregation of the huge ones.
No matter. There is a new aggregation of the small centers of power β one manifested every single day in opposition to the federal government that was created to represent them.

It's hard. "Can you separate the art from the artist"--I got asked that 1 million times in the last decade. It took a long time but I came up with my answer to that Kobayashi Maru dilemma. Talked about it with @colehaddon.bsky.social in 5am Storytalk in 2024: colehaddon.substack.com/p/q-and-a-jo...

A graphic showing the cover of WILD GOOSE CHASE by Sarah Adler. The cover is pink with orange-red geese in the background in the style of vintage toile wallpaper. The title is in yellow, with a dark haired white man and a brown haired white woman standing behind it looking up at a white and brown Canada goose that sits on the d of the word Wild. A blurb from Jasmine Guillory reads "I can't wait to devour everything Sarah Adler writes."
It's a cover reveal!!!
I'm so excited to share the cover of my fourth book, WILD GOOSE CHASE, now available for preorder π

I genuinely have no idea how to convey this to the American people, but I think the biggest impediment to any kind of immigration reform is that people are convinced that "legal" and "illegal" are immutable, intrinsic categories instead of a rapidly-shifting arbitrary constellation of regulations.

Was told at a community meeting today that many of the restaurants along 5th and 7th Ave in Sunset Park, BK are seeing up to 90% less business this year, between the snow and fear in the community of leaving the house. So, if you can, plan a trip or order out this week.

This one weird trick could stop US women from voting | Arwa Mahdawi
The Save Act β which would do the opposite of its title β could have a huge impact on the midterm elections
The GOP blames women for undermining them on issues like abortion & ICE & thus hopes to pass the βSAVE Act,β which will make it harder for married women who changed their last names to vote. But they want you to think itβs about βelection integrityβ. 1/31/26 #HandmaidsTale 1/
