Ooog, entered a hyperfixation trance and coded for 8 hours again in the morning

I just want to walk places

I just want to take a nap sometimes with a warm heated pad on my chest

I just want to play checkers or cards

Since before I graduated high school I have been a retired old person who just wants to play bingo and go to their favorite diner every weekend

I can find myself hiding it away or even shoving it in their face just to get it over with. I have to know sometimes that it’s going to be ok if you realize im a mess. If not I need to get out of the way.

Sometimes I feel like the more pieces of myself I show people the less they fit together. I sometimes fear them giving up on seeing anything in me. It’s messy. I have come to appreciate myself, mismatched pieces and all. But I still flinch when I see someone noticing.

New to actually drawing without vectors and a mouse, but I kinda love the process.

Last two reposts leave me feeling like how I wish someone would respond to me when trauma shuts me down. It’s easier to be at a distance, but other people can force you into the moment. If you’re going to reach out to someone do it with love, understanding that it’s not always enough and that’s ok.

first part of a short comic of asriel and chara. asriel enters through the doorway into the ruins’ room where the golden flowers grow, and calls “Chara?” we then see chara turned away from asriel, their arms full of flowers. asriel nervously says “Chara, it…. It wasn’t your fault.” without turning to look, chara says back “The Asriel I knew….” they pick a single flower and smile absently. “….wasn't a liar.”

the comic continues. taken aback, asriel reevaluates. “Fine. Okay. It was your fault. But-“ Chara continues to pick flowers. Asriel looks down, then starts again with more conviction. “It wasn’t your fault, and, I love you.” Chara finally turns around, shocked. in the final panel we now see only flowey speaking to the empty air. he repeats “It was your fault, and I love you.”

I love simple high contrast styles. I usually use vectors for my art, but I want to experiment more with just two tones and an eraser.

A whole new axis of identity and you still use it to be soft and cute

I’ve always felt messy, I’d hide away things until they were complete because nobody else could make out what I meant until they saw it in its final state. Even then it’s a mess but it seems to always just work. Thank you for sharing this, even if we are very different people I got to see myself.

I think the login prompt adds a lot to the feeling of a place you can never return to. The door is there. You can visit anytime and say anything but it won’t open. Thanks for sharing, this is one I’ll probably come back to more than once.
