My favourite obscure Woodbine role is another one where he's opposite David Threlfall, as the early Christian philosopher Lactantius, with Threlfall as a rather unlikely Constantine.

He's one of those actors whose ubiquity on television makes you surprised he didn't do more Who than the one story.
