Please find a way to make posts private so that only a select few friends can see them. Some of us have no wish to make pronouncements to the world at large and would rather just converse with a small group of friends.

It’s moral distress. It’s moral injury. Those words you never hear on the floor, only in research articles. Because they don’t want us to know that’s what it is. Instead it’s all about “burnout” as a consequence of “lack of self-care”.
Yes, I’m still bitter.
And still powerless.

It’s not even wages.
Its workload. Ever increasing workload.
It’s safety.
It’s liability.
It’s endless BS charting that nobody reads but is required anyway. Charting that takes us away from patients who need our attention and care and time - who need US.
