The books that I recommend are by Nancy Marchant: Knitting Fresh Brioche and Knitting Brioche Lace. The latter book served as the inspiration for what I am doing here, though I stray some since I am only working with one yarn.

To give my new Mochi DK yarn a try out, I made a #korshavncardigan by Strikkekaffe. I feel in love with this cozy design with an enticing basketweave stitch pattern. This sweater flew off of my needles and I will really enjoy wearing it this fall! Links for yarn and pattern in comments!

Also, it's amazing how fast a project goes when most of the decisions have been made.

I was going to just swatch some ideas for future designs, but then I wondered what a larger version of Sleeping Satellite would look like. This made me think back to seeing a red moon at Rehoboth the first time back after the pandemic.

Originally, Sleeping Satellite was just going to be one size, using one mega-skein of Moonshine. But then that came off the needles right before vacation, leaving me without a project to go down Rehoboth Beach with.

Meet Mochi Dk! This is a brand new yarn that I first shared at the trunk show this past weekend. It was very popular and I am so pleased at how it was received. Mochi is an air blown yarn with a cotton chainette core with soft and light alpaca fibers blown into it. I loved working with this yarn!

I played this so much in college.

This week's prompt for #showmeyourknits is autumn. This is my Shadow Weave shawl design. Fiber Optic Yarns held a KAL for it, and I used her Copper to Verdigris paintbox gradient and Whacky Khaki colorway to make this version. 🧶

Sleeping Satellite came off the needles just before leaving for vacation. Today was the first day that I had a chunk of time and daylight to do the blocking. Wow! I did not expect it to block out this large! I can't wait to see how it is once it is dry.
