As we progress through life we encounter people who we eventually realize are driven by fear. For some, that fear makes them mean and spiteful. In others, passive and receding. I often wonder about the trauma inflection point that propels them one way or the other.

From “this is not a pipe” to “gimme another hit offa that pipe.”

And patience.

I was just telling a friend the other day that are fully immersed in “Ceci n'est pas une pipe” and largely unaware of it.
