Is ‘Leeds Photography’ trending? “Back to Back” is an excellent new book by photographer @rickyadam.bsky.social documenting the city from 2003 on, while the “Pete Mitchell: Nothing Lasts Forever” retrospective at The Photographers Gallery (London) covers the 1970s/80s. Both highly recommended.

To Margate to see the brilliant exhibition “Resistance: How Protest Shaped Britain and Photography Shaped Protest” at @turnercontemporary — it’s a terrific show, documenting a century of direct action, from the suffragettes in 1903 to anti-Iraq-invasion protests in 2003. More details on IG.
