I think gate events broke the “media group” idea and things are weaker for it. Individual voices can be great but coming together under an umbrella brand prevents overlap of ideas. Triple KO is a great example!

I saw someone post a conspiracy that because of one particular reviewer the Street Fighter movie game was despised by everyone. Instead of the fact that game just sucked compared to everything else on the arcade floor at the time
