Yeah that or "replace landlordism" would have been good too. The right say crazy stuff all the time on policy areas where they have salience and it never really effects them, I just think we should look for the opportunity to do the same. Though yeah, for most the passing headline would be 👀

Gonna shift my position a little bit by saying I think the left would do well by looking at opinion polls first. Security and law and order are super important to a majority of people, landlords are less than 5% of the UK population on the other hand

I used to hold this view dearly but I really don't think it moves the dial much. Incendiary remarks like this also means we talk about landlordism being shit for a day or two (a more popular stance than defend the police at least) and not reform salient topics like immigration like always
