What a Wrongful Death Lawsuit Reveals About America’s Largest Oxygen Provider
When an at-risk sleep apnea patient needed his breathing machine replaced, Lincare, a $2.4 billion behemoth with a decadeslong history of regulatory and legal problems, acted slowly. The result was disastrous.
NEW: After Vernor’s breathing machine stopped working, a Lincare representative promised his mother a company respiratory therapist would be in contact “until we get him a new machine.”
But she didn’t hear from Lincare until 7 days later, the same day Vernor died.

I feel like I’m going to have to be calling Congress on the regular. What happened today is embarrassing on the world stage. We don’t treat allies like this. We don’t treat civil servants like we have been. Shameful and disgusting bullying behavior.

Musk: Federal workers must answer email on what they did last week or lose jobs
Federal workers began receiving emails Saturday asking them to describe what they did last week.
Federal employees already account for their work with their supervisors. We should be thanking them for their service to our country, not jerking them around. Disgusting.

U.S. Representative Greg Casar speaking to constituents at a town hall event in Austin, Texas.
This afternoon I attended @repcasar.bsky.social’s town hall here in Austin. Our district shared stories of civil servants from tax examiners to VA healthcare workers, all experiencing the wrath of the current administration and losing their jobs. We are coming together to stand up for democracy. 🇺🇸✊🏽

The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word 'transgender' from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website. This blatant act of erasure not only distorts the truth of our history, but it also dishonors the immense contributions of transgender individuals - especially transgender women of color - who were at the forefront of the Stonewall Riots and the broader fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

I hope you all are holding up okay. I know a good deal of people who have been negatively affected by the change in leadership here in the states. Many ppl dont fully grasp the impact that’s taking place to ppl’s livelihoods, esp those in public service. I’m sorry. This truly sucks.

To introduce causality of a plane crash on someone not having the right color of skin or the highest standards because of DEI policy is ass backward and racist.

Hey. You’re gonna be okay. We’re all gonna be okay. But you do need to pay attention to what’s going on. If you haven’t before because it’s overwhelming, I get it. But we don’t really have a choice anymore. When apps tell you that someone is going to find a solution and make everything better, pause
