Am interested in this as well. Let me know if you find a public source. We miight start one for datacenters. Also, don’t forget that existing hyper scalers are/will be expanding current datacenters. Facebook,Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc.

Note that at 6:00pm CAISO was actually still exporting. Five years ago, imports were needed to satisfy this kind of demand.

Yesterday was the highest peak demand so far in 2025 on @californiaiso.bsky.social - 43,735 MW at 6:00 PM.

Relatively easy to handle versus a few years ago due to the increase in Battery Storage.

Still, too much gas is being used to meet peak... more firm sources needed.
