What a disaster of a trade deadline for the Sixers. Embiid is back in MVP form, Maxey is taking a leap, and the response was selling a fan favorite for draft capital while not improving the team at all. A huge F-you to the players and the fanbase.

I’ve learned not to get my hopes up at this point.

Josh Harris should legally be forced to sell one of his three (3) professional sports franchises if he once again forces Daryl Morey to duck the tax.

Oh my god, Joel Embiid!

Joel Embiid is a problem once again, and I honestly had no idea if we'd ever see that again. A truly incredible turnaround from where he was earlier this season.

He is a really solid hitter. He can hit all of the pitches and is likely going to bat around .300.

He’s younger than Bohm and Stott, so even if you have to move one that’s fine.

Adding him would significantly upgrade the lineup, and it changes the team enough to avoid the “running it back” claims.

Watching it a couple hours before I get engaged was certainly a bold choice.

If they’re going to ban the tush push, they should ban these plays as well. I’d be shocked if their rule proposal doesn’t have some QB-Specific language or “immediately following the snap” type of verbiage to allow plays like the Gibbs TD to continue.

What kind of return would the Phillies get on expiring contract guys like Taijuan Walker and Nick Castellanos?

Would retaining most of their salary help the return? At what point is it no longer worthwhile for the Phillies to make that type of move?

It’s almost like other GM’s benefit from these types of rumors…

It would take a major contract restructure to even consider trading him this year or next year.
