We are really good at Entrepreneurship though. We’ve won many awards.

It’s just that that, or any, activity can’t generate enough income to save us from catastrophic financial mismanagement and governance issues.

‘Angry and exhausted’ Dundee University staff rally against jobs cut to save university Campus unions organised the event where there was palpable anger at the current and former leadership of Dundee University.

We held a rally to mark one-year of the financial crisis at the University of Dundee.

We resolve to continue opposing compulsory lay-offs and a radical reshaping of the institution.

Solidarity to all of Dundee’s workers as they strike in the face of some of most caricaturishly mismanagement this sector has seen to date (although god knows the competition is heating up). May this venerable institution survive and thrive; victory to the strikers!

Very sad news. Arts and Humanities are vital.

Why is it that when trying to cut costs, university execs go for the arts and humanities subjects that are frequently cheaper to teach and bring in strong income?

Don’t they realise this will create less income and cause additional cuts in the future?

The University Executive Group have not met with us to try to pause our industrial action.

So, we will be out on strike from Monday 10th November to Friday 14th. Join us at the picket if you can from 8:30am each day.
