I know the media has been using arrest and detain interchangeably but there’s a difference. In Korean, detain and arrest are the same word. When they first apprehended Yoon, investigators only had him for questioning for 48 hours. Now he will essentially be in custody until his trial starts

Many have posted that Yoon was detained but that’s not true. New information emerging that his legal team is hoping the CIO doesn’t detain Yoon today and goes in for questioning voluntarily on another day. Big question is how accommodating will the CIO be? And how trustworthy is Yoon and his team?
