It's a roller coaster for me. I've finally accepted my mom's passing only to start grieving a friendship that was dropped out of nowhere. I'm doing okay, though.

I enjoyed the 4th of July when I was younger. However, I think I've grown sensitive to the fireworks, and it's also hard because my paternal grandma passed away on July 4.

It's so weird when we point out a problem in American governance, and so many people's response is, "Well then you should move to another country!"

Even if that were feasible, is that how people normally respond to problems or messes? They run away instead of fixing it? How childish.

Just lost my mom in December. It'll be my first Mother's Day without her, and I'm thinking of doing something to honor her.

Same here. First Mother's Day without my mom. Seeing the Mother's Day ads and news stories has made me depressed.

I hope my fellow witches in Pickens are safe and won't let them get into their heads.

Trans people are genuinely some of the bravest people I know.

What an amazing thing to know exactly who you are so thoroughly that you will embrace your true self despite constant harassment and threats of violence.
