Aerial_Knight’s DropShot Makes Finger Guns Cool Again Despite Its Pitfalls Smoke Wallace and his Finger Gun carry a thrilling but uneven arcade-like experience.

Aerial_Knight's DropShot is a kick-ass game that, despite some momentum issues, makes you feel as badass as its protagonist Smoke Wallace when things come together. Finger guns are cool again (or at least for however long you play DropShot). My review:

Smoke Wallace is the type of character I could see hung-up on a young Black child’s bedroom walls for years. He got bit by a radioactive dragon and not only survived, but gained the ability to shoot bullets out of his fingers. He jumps out of airplanes with mercenaries he knows are itching to put a bullet in him the first chance they get. He goes shot for shot with dragons and parachuting tanks mid-air, all while dodging floating islands that promise immediate death should he be unlucky or ungraceful enough to crash into one. He has a persistent rival who challenges him to races only to lose despite consistent tech upgrades. He talks to a magic cow. Simply put, Smoke Wallace is That Guy.

El Necio @ElNecio_Cuba Translated from Spanish STATEMENT #1 ✍️ According to Miami media outlets, the US is imposing a sanction on me for practicing journalism. I am an ordinary young Cuban. Five years ago, I began doing my work through social media and collaborating with press outlets. I have no employment ties whatsoever to the Cuban government: currently, I do not work in press media or state institutions. In their report, they refer to my latest journalistic investigation as "harassment," in which I demonstrate the purchase of fuel (gasoline) by US diplomats in Havana: the very same fuel that they block from Cuba, only to consume it themselves afterward. The sanction is irrelevant to me. I have never had, nor have I ever requested, a visa to enter the US. It has never even crossed my mind to visit that country, with so much beauty in Latin America and so much humanism in the neighborhoods of my own country. But we do need to denounce this serious violation of press freedom. Because this is not a personal attack, but a precedent for censorship and coercion against every young Cuban who speaks out against the blockade on Cuba or who practices journalism that does not please the Trump administration. It is a clear attack on the practice of free and independent journalism that I carry out, guided by ethical principles, with source triangulation and verifications. My work is to spread the truth, not to please the power that sanctions me.

A journalist in Cuba caught US embassy staff hoovering up insane amounts of gasoline while the island is blocked by the U.S. from importing oil.

The U.S. responded by sanctioning the journalist.

We are doing all this for freedom, of course.
