Yesterday, whilst out walking near Burnham Overy Staithe I saw something I've never witnessed before. This Red Kite dropped into a channel & appeared carrying a large fish. Whilst I'd read that they will hunt like Ospreys I'd never ever seen it. What an experience!! #norfolkbirding

A wonderful pale morph Adult Male HONEY BUZZARD arguably the most aesthetically beautiful raptors in the Western Palearctic in my teens I considered it a near mythical species fortunately I've been lucky enough to see them at breeding sites as I grew up.
