ugly left leaning volcano plot. All of the data points are in the left quadrants, which, I personally find, masks effect sizes overall being left leaning.

the same volcano plot as before, but now the x axis limits from -10 to +10, even tho the right quadrants have few data points.

🧑‍💻a really neat trick i enjoy in ggplot is

it's great for systematically setting the x-axis symmetrical (new tongue twister?)

i really like it for manually making multiple volcano style plots in ggplot2 🎨🖌️
