As a proud parent of a remarkable trans kid, one that has advocated for her community since she was nine with me proudly by her side, I cannot agree with Esther. I will hopefully never go through the pain of loosing my child and as a mother my heart goes out to her. But I 100% can’t agree with her.

Brianna Ghey was not murdered in cold blood by a phone. Or a social media app. She was murdered in cold blood with knives plunged into her 28 times by two 15-year-olds fed a constant stream of hate and dehumanization by UK corporate media and the UK government.

2/ Forgot that I looked like I had been dug up, got in some much needed exercise and turned my day around. Treated my skin to a much needed face mask and slipped into my PJ’s.
I’m far from being 100% but I’m better than I felt this morning. Sometimes the littlest of actions can turn around a lousy

1/ It’s never too late to restart and salvage your day and sanity. After a grim and overwhelming start to my morning that consisted of way too many tears, wise words from my people pulled my out of my funk. I went for a swim with my lovely @keirakilgallen_ to hold my hand.

3/ Thankfully I have a few anchors to keep my sanity in place and to my anchors you truly have my heart always.

2/Change is hard but also beautiful and I am finally in the process of becoming me, the true me. Which I’m finding can be quite the lonely road, I’m someone that struggles with change even when it’s best for me. The unknown is very scary and there are so many things in my life to adjust and fix.

1/ My life has changed to the point I don’t recognise it at all or even sometimes myself, is it a good or bad thing? Only time will tell.
I needed this reset day in my favourite place with my favourite people to try and ground and calm my nervous system.
